The Golden Rules of Ensemble Music

These could be the Golden Rules (unofficial) of the Ensemble music…
- Play everybody the same piece.
- Always tune your instrument before playing. This way you will be able to play out of tone all the night with your conscience clear.
- If everybody is going wrong except you, follow the ones going wrong.
- Try to achieve the maximum NPS (notes per second). You will achieve incompetents’ admiration.
- Score indications for nuances, sentences, etc. must not be taken into consideration. They were placed there just to decorate the score.
- If a part of the performance if difficult, please more slowly. If a part is easy, speed up. Everything will be sort out at the end.
- In case of doubt, never be the first to start nor the last to finish..
- When everybody has finished playing, you must not play the notes you have left.
- A right note played at the wrong time is a wrong note…and vice versa.
- A wrong note played with shyness is a wrong note. A wrong note played with authority is uand intrepretation.
- Blessed thouse with no musical ear, because theirs is the Kingdom of Music.
- Blessed those who are not musicians, because they willl make rich thanks to the music.
